Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice are proud to announce the signing of Colorado Native, Thomas Raiola to the Ice Organization.
Raiola is a 6'0", 227 lb Linebacker from New Mexico Highlands University, who earned a contract with the Ice after a very impressive tryout. Raiola's athletic ability was evident throughout the combine style testing and on field drills, showing his potential and proving his past honors.
During his time at NMHU, Raiola started in 30 games, accumulating 158 tackles, 28.5 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, and 5 fumbles recovered. In his senior season alone, Raiola accumulated 61 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 3 fumbles recovered. Raiola received numerous honors during his time at NMHU; including being named All-Conference.
Raiola played his high school football at Standley Lake in Westminster, where he was chosen for First Team All Conference and Team Captain.
