Colorado Ice Sign Back Greer and Acquire Indoor Talent

Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice are proud to announce the signing of Maurice Greer, LaMonte Jones, Kevin Myers and Wesley Jones.

Maurice Greer is a 5'11", 210 lb. Running Back from Mullen High School in Denver and Troy State University. Greer will be returning to the Ice after being a key player in the 11-3 record and first Ice home playoff game in 2011. Greer had 264 yards rushing for 15 touchdowns in 6 games last season.

LaMonte Jones is a 5'10", 195 lb. Wide Receiver who played at Illinois State University and has been an AF2 highlight reel. While in the AF2, Jones was "AF2 Ironman of the Year" and had 105 receptions for 1,545 yards for 45 touchdowns in that season.

Kevin Myers is a 6'6", 341 lb. Lineman who played at New Mexico Highlands University. Most recently, Myers has played with the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League. Myers has indoor experience from his time with the Bricktown Brawlers in 2011 and the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgs formerly of the Arena Football League; in which he was chosen for All League honors and AFL 1st Team.

Wesley Jones is a 6'5", 360 lb. Lineman who played at Marshall University and was signed to rookie camp with the Washington Redskins. Jones was with the Lexington Horsemen of the AFL.
