Colorado Ice Lose First Game 48-42 to Fever

(Loveland, CO) - The Colorado Ice lost their first game to the Tri-Cities Fever 48-42. After a back and forth game the Ice could not come back in the final nine seconds of the game to get the win.

The Ice offense lead by David Knighton (5) went 19 for 28 and 223 yards, throwing 6 touchdowns in the game. Casimier (3) had 2 touchdowns and 97 yards leading the Ice with receiving yards for the night. The four other touchdowns were spread out between Brooks (2), English (8), Witter (18) and Anders (32).

The Ice defense came away with one sack by Yaniv Barnett (99) and was lead by James Johnson (24) on tackles with eight unassisted and one assisted.

The Colorado Ice will be facing the Arizona Adrenaline, May 1st, 2011 on Majestic Field at the Budweiser Events Center.
