
Colorado Ice Falls to the Sioux Falls Storm

Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice Professional Indoor Football team fall to the undefeated Sioux Falls Storm, 69-26
In an attempt to hold onto their undefeated record, the Storm were determined to keep the Ice from entering the end zone. The Storm was the first to score with only 5 minutes left in the first quarter. Kicker, Aric Goodman (#9), went good on a 25 yard field goal to put the Ice on the scoreboard.
Seconds into the second quarter, the Ice let another Storm touchdown slip by. RB, Cordera Eason (#24), quickly came back with a carry for a touchdown to keep the Ice in the game. The Storm rebutted with a touchdown and an uncompleted field goal by the Ice allowed the Storm to increase their lead. Another touchdown by the Storm allowed them lead going into the half, 28-10.
The third quarter began with the Storm breaking past the Ice defense and scoring a touchdown. QB, Jeremy Sanders (#8), carried for a touchdown to close the gap between the Ice and the Storm. After another touchdown by the Storm, Goodman (#9) completed a 40 yard field goal. The Storm ended the quarter with a touchdown on a fumble recovery.
The Storm returned to form and scored within seconds of the start of the fourth quarter. After going back and forth the Storm completed a field goal to add to their score. After attempting to move down the field the Ice completed a 31 yard field goal. The Storm came back with a field goal to ensure a win. Goodman (#9) went good on a 44 yard field goal however it was too late to make a comeback. Another touchdown from the Storm ended the scoring of the game. The Ice lost to the Storm, 69-26.
This game marks the last regularly scheduled game in the 2012 season. Fans can look for playoff information to come out soon.
