
Colorado Ice Announce 2014 Season Coaching Staff

Fort Collins, CO - Head Coach Heron O'Neal is proud to announce his staff for the 2014 Season. Returning to the staff are Brian Arndt, Rico Ochoa and Marcus Pearson. New to the Ice staff is former Colorado State University (CSU) Quarterback Anthoney Hill and former CSU Punter Jimmie Kaylor.
Coach O'Neal will be on the field calling plays for the Offense and Defense this season, working with Coach Arndt as the Assistant Defensive Coordinator and Special Teams coach and Coach Hill as the Assistant Offensive Coordinator. Coach Ochoa will be returning to coach the Offensive and Defensive Lines.
Coach Hill brings 17 years of coaching and playing experience to the Ice. Hill was inducted into the Colorado State University's Hall of Fame in 2008, as a quarterback he lead the team in 1994 to a 10-2 record, the 9th best CSU record with 2,552 yards. In his CSU career he had a total of 7,147 yards, second in the history of CSU.
The Ice coaches are also involved in high school football throughout Northern Colorado. Coach O'Neal is in his first season as the Linebackers coach at Fort Collins High School; Coach Arndt is in his 13th season at Longmont High School and is the Defensive Coordinator; Coach Ochoa is in his first season as the Offensive Line coach at Loveland High School; and Coach Hill is the Quarterbacks coach at Poudre High School in Fort Collins.
Marcus Pearson has been promoted to Director of Recruiting and is based out of Winston Salem, North Carolina; where he is the Offensive Line Coach for the Parkland Mustangs of Parkland Magnet High School.
Jimmie Kaylor was brought on to fill the Assistant Director of Recruiting position and comes to the Colorado Ice with player and coaching experience. Jimmie signed a National Football League (NFL) contract with the Atlanta Falcons in 2008. Kaylor is ranked as the Best Punter in CSU history. In addition to recruiting for the Colorado Ice, Kaylor is the Regional Recruiting Director for National Athlete Coach Connection (NACC) and a Regional Associate with National Camp Series (NCS).
