Back-to-Back Governors' Cup Champion Colorado Eagles

The Colorado Eagles won their second consecutive Governors' Cup as the Central Hocke League's regular season champions on Tuesday night. The Laredo Bucks lost to the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees 4-1 at the Dodge Arena becoming that last team to fall from the race for the league title. The Eagles again have ensured home-ice advantage throughout the playoffs

Colorado currently has a record of 43-12-6 for 92 points matching their win total (43) from each of the previous two seasons. The Eagles have three games remaining in the regular season before opening the playoffs on Saturday, April 1st at the Budweiser Events Center. The Eagles will play either the Oklahoma City Blazers or the Wichita Thunder in the first round.
