Hartford Colonials News Release
1. The Colonials signed former Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins RB Lorenzo Booker (Florida State). He was a third-round draft pick by the Dolphins in 2007.
2. The team also signed center Ryan Blaszczyk (Rutgers), who was in Detroit Lions rookie mini-camp this year.
And finally...
The Colonials are offering fans an opportunity to choose the best available seats in the house for the upcoming 2010 United Football League season. The team is hosting a Select-A-Seat open house Aug. 29 at Rentschler Field from 2-6 pm.
Admission and parking are free.
Players and cheerleaders will be there.
Fans who haven't purchased tickets yet may do so and in the process choose their seats. Current season ticket holders can view their seats and have the option to move to a different location.
