Hartford Colonials News Release
The Hartford Colonials signed former Cleveland Browns running back Chris Jennings. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Jennings (5-10, 218) worked out for the Texans in Houston on Tuesday, Oct. 19. He spent last season with the Browns. In nine games with Cleveland, Jennings rushed for 220 yards and one touchdown on 63 carries. He also caught nine passes for 56 yards.
Jennings played in college at Arizona and made his professional debut in 2008 with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. The Browns signed him in August 2009.
The Colonials (1-3) play at Las Vegas (3-1) on Saturday, Oct. 23, at Sam Boyd Stadium. The game will be televised on the VERSUS network at 3:30 p.m.
