Utah Blaze News Release
SALT LAKE CITY - Country singer and songwriter COLLIN RAYE will be performing the National Anthem when the Utah Blaze host the Nashville Kats at the Delta Center this Friday, March 10 at 7 p.m.
Raye, who has 15 No. 1 country hits and five platinum albums, has been honored by the Academy of Country Music. He is in town for a very special performance to benefit the non-profit organization, The Power in You. The Power in You is dedicated to helping Utah's young adults. Raye and Utah's First Lady MARY KAY HUNTSMAN will host the event Saturday night at the E Center.
The Blaze (2-4) are seeking their first home win at the Delta Center after a disappointing 65-50 loss against divisional foe San Jose last Saturday. Nashville (4-2) comes to town with one of the best defenses after losing a close battle with the Arizona Rattlers last weekend, 51-49. The Kats are just one game behind defending champion, the Colorado Crush, in the Central Division. It should be a battle of one of the best offenses in the AFL up against arguably the best defense.
The Blaze are back at the Delta Center to face the Nashville Kats on Friday, March 10 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at www.utahblaze.com, the Delta Center box office, by calling Ticketmaster at (801) 325-SEAT or at all Ticketmaster outlets.
