Coffman, Lewis and McGlenn Earn Weekly Honors

CHICAGO - Chicago Rush QB Carson Coffman has been awarded Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week, while Iowa Barnstormers DL Mike Lewis has been named the Riddell Defensive Player of the Week and New Orleans VooDoo DB Cameron McGlenn has been named J. Lewis Small Playmaker of the Week for Week 11 of the 2013 NET10 Wireless Arena Football League season. In addition to these awards, the AFL is also awarding the Cutters Catch of the Week and AFL Highlight of the Week. New Orleans VooDoo WR Donovan Morgan earned the Cutters Catch of the Week, while Tampa Bay Storm QB Adrian McPherson and WR Joe Hills were awarded the AFL Highlight of the Week.

RUSSELL ATHLETIC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Coffman (6-3, 215, Kansas State) completed 20-of-28 passes for 281 yards and eight touchdowns in Chicago's 63-55 victory over the Orlando Predators in Week 11. His eight-touchdown performance represents both season and career-highs. Coffman also recorded a triple-digit passer rating for the third consecutive game.

RIDDELL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Lewis (6-2, 260, Adrian) recorded five tackles, 3.5 sacks, and a forced fumble in Iowa's 62-65 loss to the Tampa Bay Storm in Week 11. His 3.5 sacks set a new single-game franchise record, while he also became the team's new single-season record holder with 8.5 sacks on the year.

J. LEWIS SMALL PLAYMAKER OF THE WEEK

McGlenn (6-0, 190, Elon) had two interceptions, including one returned 38 yards for a touchdown in New Orleans' 69-40 victory over the Cleveland Gladiators in Week 11. In his first game with the club, McGlenn tallied 4.5 tackles, half a tackle for loss, two interceptions and one pass breakup. He will receive a timepiece crafted by J. Lewis Small for his efforts.

CUTTERS CATCH OF THE WEEK

Morgan (6-3, 225, Pearl River CC) made a circus catch over the wall for a 29-yard score in the second quarter of New Orleans' 69-40 victory over the Cleveland Gladiators in Week 11. He went on to finish the game with 127 yards and four touchdowns. It was his third straight multiple touchdown game. He will receive a Cutters hat and shirt in recognition of the catch.

AFL HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK

McPherson (6-4, 225, Florida State) hooked up with Hills (6-4, 210, Tennessee State) in the end zone for the game-winning touchdown as time expired to escape with a 65-62 victory over the Iowa Barnstormers in Week 11. The dynamic duo was in sync all game, connecting eight times for 120 yards and three touchdowns for the Storm's first win in Des Moines since ArenaBowl X in 1996.

Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week candidates included: Jacksonville WR Jeron Harvey, New Orleans WR Donovan Morgan, Philadelphia WR Tiger Jones, San Antonio WR Jomo Wilson, Spokane WR Adron Tennell and Tampa Bay QB Adrian McPherson.

Riddell Defensive Player of the Week candidates included: Chicago DB Josh Pleasant, Jacksonville DB Terrance Smith, New Orleans DL Marlon Favorite, Philadelphia DB Rayshaun Kizer, San Antonio JLB Jamar Ransom and Spokane DB Terrance Sanders.

J. Lewis Small Playmaker of the Week candidates included: Arizona FB Odie Armstrong, Chicago WR Reggie Gray, Pittsburgh DB Chris LeFlore, San Antonio WR D.J. Stephens, Spokane WR Jeffrey Solomon and Tampa Bay WR Joe Hills.

The Arena Football League is also awarding the AFL MVP of the Week, where fans are given the opportunity to select the winner. Candidates include Chicago QB CARSON COFFMAN, Iowa DL MIKE LEWIS and San Antonio WR D.J. STEPHENS. Fans will have 24 hours to vote on ArenaFootball.com beginning at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 5. The winner will be announced on Thursday, June 6.
