Green Bay Blizzard News Release

The Green Bay Blizzard has announced the return of 15-year Arena Football veteran coach Mark Stoute to the coaching staff as Director of Player Personnel and Assistant Head Coach.

This season will be Stoute's third year with the Blizzard where his frst two seasons (2006 & 2008) both culminated in Division Championships and a trip to the ArenaCup in 2006.

"We as a staff are glad to be back and we hope to capitalize on our success on and off the feld from this past season, comments Coach Mark Stoute. "Green Bay is the premier place to play in the af2, and it is in large part to our 9th Man. It is fun to coach and watch our players perform in front of such great crowds night in and night out."

Head Coach Bob Landsee and Coach Stoute have coached together prior to the Green Bay Blizzard. Stoute and Landsee were members of the Toronto Phantoms (2002) and the Indiana Firebirds (2004) coaching staffs of the AFL.

Coach Stoute has been a big part of developing offensive players and moving them up to the AFL. Players who have played under Coach Stoute's offense and currently on AFL rosters are:

QB James MacPherson - Grand Rapids Rampage (2006)

OL Robert Boss - Chicago Rush (2006)

OL Brett Huyser - Colorado Crush (2006)

FB Peter Lazarre-Saunders - Columbus Destroyers (2006)

WR Brent Holmes - Philadelphia Soul (2006)

Join Coach Landsee, Coach Stoute and the Green Bay Blizzard for another great season of Arena Football in 2009. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting the Blizzard Offce at 920-405-1264 or visit online at www.greenbayblizzard.com.
