It was a busy holiday season for the Halifax Rainmen as they have added forward Malcolm White, point guard Trayvon Lathan and finally today, six-foot-two 180 lbs shooting guard, Cedric Moodie, pending FIBA clearance. Moodie, a well travelled veteran played last year in the NBL with the Quebec kebs in the 2011-2012 season averaging 13 points per game and averaging 37% from the three point line.
"We have been through a lot of change this season," said Halifax Rainmen Head Coach Rob Spon. "But as the dust settles, I'm proud to say that we've put together in my opinion a terrific team with great athleticism and great versatility and we believe we're going to be successful."
Spon also announced Tuesday evening the Halifax Rainmen have released point guard Josiah Turner. The Rainmen travel to Moncton to take on the 10-11 Moncton Miracles this Friday, before returning to Halifax to host the 16-2 London Lightning in a rematch of last seasons NBL Canada Finals.
