
Coach Redwine To Miss Back To Back Games This Weekend

MONROE, Wash. - June 10, 2008 - The Explosion will miss Head Coach Randy Redwine this weekend, as he travels to the East coast for a relatives graduation ceremony. Redwine will be back for the Explosion's home game against China on Saturday, June 21st. Immediate
General Manager Brad Sturlaugson also announced that center Mike Jones will not play on Friday, June 13th or Saturday, June 14th due to a minor injury. Center David White has rehabbed his injury and will be back this weekend to play in the two home games.
Shooting-guard Craig Roosendaal will make his Explosion debut on Saturday night against Central Oregon.
The Snohomish County Explosion will be hosting the 2008 IBL North/South All-Star Classic to be held on Sunday, June 29th at Monroe High School. This game will feature the best talent from all across the country, taking place directly before the Western Division Championship game.
The All-Star weekend kicks-off with the first round of the 2008 IBL Western Division elimination round on Friday, June 27th, followed by semi-final games on Saturday, June 28th, and the All-Star Game, 3-Point Shoot-out and Slam Dunk Contest followed by the Championship game on Sunday, June 29th.
