The Cleveland Gladiators will begin preparations for the 26th season of Arena Football League action, when the team opens their 2013 training camp on MONDAY, MARCH 4th at MultiPlex, located at THE WORD CHURCH in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. The Gladiators kick off the 2013 regular season - their fifth in Cleveland - at Quicken Loans Arena against the Spokane Shock on Sunday, March 24th.
Thirty-five players will report to the initial practice on Monday. Among those will be wide receiver Dominick Goodman, who returns to the Gladiators for his third season in 2013. The University of Michigan alum played for the New England Patriots 2006-10, before finishing the 2010 season with the Buffalo Bills.
Five of the participating players hail from Ohio universities - OL Chris Anzevino (Kent State); OL CJ Cobb (Cincinnati); WR Goodman (Cincinnati); DB Taikwon Paige (Toledo); and DB Lenny Wicks (Youngstown State).
