Tampa Bay - The families of Caroline and Nyle Wiren have announced the establishment of the Clay Christian Wiren Irrevocable Trust. The Trust is a fund dedicated to the health, education, support and maintenance of newborn Clay Wiren.

Caroline Wiren, wife of longtime Storm linebacker Nyle Wiren, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, after giving birth to the couple's first child, a healthy baby boy, on Tuesday evening. Caroline, a former Tampa Bay Storm dancer, co-directed the Storm dancers for three seasons (2003-2005) and most recently was the head coach for the University of South Florida's dance team, the SunDolls.

The Tampa Bay Storm and Palace Sports & Entertainment, operators of the St. Pete Times Forum, have also joined together to assist the Wiren Family. The Storm will make an initial contribution of $5,000 dollars to the trust while PS&E will commit 50 percent of remaining ticket sales this season toward the trust.

A private memorial service for Caroline will take place in her home state of Mississippi. For those who want to make a contribution to the trust, they can do so by sending it to:

The Storm hosts the Arizona Rattlers on Friday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Pete Times Forum.
