NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (May 11)- A championship season calls for championship recognition by the city as the City of North Richland Hills plans to recognize the 2009 CHL Champions, Texas Brahmas, tonight in the City Council Meeting.
Brahmas fans are encouraged to attend the meeting to give a final hoorah to Brahmas players, coaches and management for their successful 2009 run. The meeting will begin at 7 PM in the City Council Chambers at City Hall (7301 NE Loop 820).
The Texas Brahmas were able to clinch their first championship title in their 11 season franchise history on Wednesday night in a 6-2 victory over the Colorado Eagles. This is only the Brahmas second season in North Richland Hills.
"This is the last chance for fans to honor the team," said Brahmas General Manager Mike Barack. "We are so proud to be part of North Richland Hills and are excited the City, our organization and the fans can get together one more time," he said.
For more information regarding the City recognition or for information for 2009-2010 Texas Brahmas season tickets, please contact the Brahmas offices at (817) 336-4423.
