Boston Pride News Release

BOSTON - In her first pro season out of Northeastern University, Tori Sullivan emerged as an offensive force for the Boston Pride and an NWHL social media star. Today, Sullivan signed a contract to play the upcoming season with the Pride and is determined to keep advancing women's hockey, the league and her team.

"Last year was a remarkable experience, and I can't wait to rejoin a culture that continually inspires us to grow as people and players," said Sullivan. "I can't thank my team enough for offering me another opportunity to be part of the NWHL and the Boston Pride organization! It's such a privilege, and I'm so incredibly grateful to be in an organization led by individuals who want what's best for the players, fans, the NWHL, and women's ice hockey as a whole. To Boston Pride and NWHL fans, I hope to provide you all with a season full of laughs and entertainment."

Playing all 24 regular season games in 2019-20, the 5-5 forward had 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points. On a team filled with star forwards, Sullivan led the Pride with five power play goals and tied for the league lead with Taylor Accursi and Madison Packer.

"If the NWHL had an award for Best Dangles, Tori would win unanimously," said Boston GM Karilyn Pilch. "We are thrilled to have her back next season. Her love for the game and carefree attitude make her a delight to have in the locker room, and crucial to the culture that brought us so much success."

Sullivan started her collegiate career by playing two seasons at Boston College, earning Hockey East All-Rookie Team honors in her first season. She transferred to Northeastern, helping the Huskies to a Hockey East regular season title and tournament championship, as well as an NCAA Tournament appearance. In 154 college games, Sullivan was 36-62-98 and +80. She also earned the BC Athletic Director's Award for Academic Excellence.
