On Wednesday, June 28, the Kings will head north to play their opening match in the 2006 U.S. Open Cup against the USL's Premier Development League Michigan Bucks in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The Bucks beat the Pittsburgh Riverhounds 2-0 to advance.
