Kings players host Christmas Youth Camp and Soccer Tournament
There is still time to register for the the Cincinnati Kings' Christmas Youth Camp and Christmas Soccer Tournament over this holiday break.
From December 27-29, youth soccer players ages 8-18 are invited to the camp hosted by Kings' players at Game Time Training Center. Cost is $50 per player and includes a voucher to the Kings game on December 30 against Louisville. Click here for a registration form.
And from December 28-30, the Kings will host their first-ever Holiday Soccer Tournament at the Cincinnati Gardens for players of all ages (youth, 8-18) along with adult teams (men, women and co-ed). Cost is $350 per team for a guaranteed three game schedule and vouchers to the Kings game on December 30 against Louisville. Click here for a team registration form.
Kings fall on the road to Lightning, Waza
The Cincinnati Kings were on the road this past weekend, on Friday visiting the Louisville Lightning, where the Kings dropped a tight 8-7 contest. The Lightning led 3-1 at the half and 5-2 after three, but the Kings added five goals in the fourth to just fall short.
On Saturday, the Kings headed up I-75 to face the Detroit Waza, where the Kings again had a close contest but dropped the 8-6 decision to the Waza. The win gives Detroit sole possession of first place in the Eastern Division, while the Kings are now 2-5 and are 3 ½ games out of first.
The Kings' next home game is December 30 against the Louisville Lightning at 8:05 p.m. at the Cincinnati Gardens.
