Cincinnati Kings Announce 2011-12 Roster

Veteran goalkeeper Craig Salvati leads the list of players returning to the defending Eastern Division Champion Cincinnati Kings professional indoor soccer team, today announcing its roster for the upcoming 2011-2012 season.

"We are excited about the players we have on our roster this season," said Coach Roby Stahl. "We have a great mix of solid veterans and skilled newcomers ready to defend our division title."

Besides Salvati (Lakota East), other familiar names returning to the Kings this season are Jeff Henderson (University of Cincinnati), Sam Fiore (Xavier University), Craig Rhodis, Adam Ross (Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy) and Kwame Sarkodie.

The entire roster includes: Salvati, goalkeeper; Henderson, Fiore, Rhodis, Doug Rice, Roger Straz, Ryan Keiser, Sam Miller and Chris Dobrowolski, defenders; Drew Ducker, Ross, Sarkodie, Shawn Rockey, Nik Djokic, James Getzen and Will Peppard, midfielders; Branden Stelmak, Allen Eller, Matt Breines and Rashawn Lamar, forwards.

The Cincinnati Kings open the 2011-2012 season Saturday, November 12 against Louisville at 7:35 p.m. at the Cincinnati Gardens. Tickets are available now at www.kingsindoor.com.

The 2010-11 Professional Arena Soccer League Eastern Division Champion Cincinnati Kings renew their rivalry with division opponent Louisville as two home games with the Lightning highlight the Kings' home schedule for the 2011-2012 season.

The Kings will be returning to historic Cincinnati Gardens for their second season at the venue. Home games will start at 8:05 p.m. Friday nights and 7:35 p.m. Saturdays with free parking at the Gardens. Season tickets are now available at the Kings' new-look website at www.kingsindoor.com.
