
Christoffersen to Fayetteville

GREENVILLE, S.C., January 30 â The Fayetteville Patriots have claimed center Chris Christoffersen from the National Basketball Development League available player pool, according to an announcement by NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert. The Patriots also released forward Tarvis Williams.
Christoffersen, 7-2, 300-pound center out of Oregon, was a second-round selection (10th overall) of the Roanoke Dazzle in the 2003 NBDL Draft. He averaged 5.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 14 games before being released by the Dazzle on Jan. 12.
Christoffersen is expected to be in uniform Saturday when the Patriots host Roanoke at the Crown Coliseum.
