Pensacola Ice Flyers News Release
The Pensacola Ice Flyers are pleased to announce that goaltender Steve Christie will be staying in an Ice Flyer uniform for the time being. Yesterday, Christie was called up to the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL but those plans have now fallen through. Although it would have been a great opportunity for him and it is unfortunate that this call up did not work out for Steve, we are more than positive that the fans and the team are thrilled to have him stay for now. Christie enjoys playing in front of the Ice Flyer faithfuls and is looking forward to playing more games between the pipes for Pensacola.
