CHILLICOTHE, OHIO - Lock Haven University's Mike Anthony and the Chillicothe Paints' Kevin Zullo hooked up in a Prospects League pitching duel Wednesday, June 15.

Anthony, reeling off his third straight starting effort of at least six innings, limited the host Paints to three runs on nine hits while striking out two. Zullo, his counterpart, was just as tough on the Kokomo Jackrabbits' bats, surrendering only one earned run on five hits to go with four strikeouts.

Chillicothe dropped the Gold and Brown down into a tie with the Butler Baysox for the top spot on the PL's Eastern Division standings at 10-8 with a 3-2 victory at Veterans Administration Stadium. The game was called at the end of seven and a third innings due to weather.

Before the weather crashed the party, Kokomo's offense did manage a pair of stars. Illinois State University's Ryan Hutchinson and Wayne State University's Griffin Harms turned in a pair of multiple-hit contests. Hutchinson added a double and RBI to his line.

The Jackrabbits resume a five-game road trip Thursday, June 16, taking on the West Virginia Miners in a 7:05 p.m. first pitch at Linda K. Epling Stadium.

NOTES: Harms' two-safety night was his fourth successive multiple-hit outing. His average has risen 153 points (.212-.365) over his last six appearances. The meteoric stretch has jumped him into sixth on the Prospects League batting average standings.
