Chill To Have A Busy Week

Tuesday April 22nd will be the Edmonton Chill Launch Party. The event will be hosted by the Oil City Roadhouse at 10736 Jasper Avenue with the doors opening at 7pm. The cost is $5, with tickets available on site, and there will be door prizes and giveaways throughout the evening. Chill players, the Dance Team, and management will be in attendance to answer any questions about the team.
Then on Wednesday April 23rd, just four days before Saturday's franchise opener, the Chill will be holding two big events.
In the afternoon, the Chill will hold their final pre-season press conference at Hooters Restaurant at the West Edmonton Mall's Bourbon Street at 2pm. The club will announce their roster for Saturday's opener and introduce three players who have arrived over the last couple of weeks, and who stand a combined 20 feet 2 inches.
Continuing the day's events, the Chill will play their final exhibition game at McNally High School (8440 105th avenue). Tip-off will be at 7:30pm as the Chill face the Alberta All-Stars for a second time, the team cruised to a 131-92 victory against the squad of top collegiate talent on Friday the 11th.
As a reminder, the Chill will be practicing Tuesday evening from 8-10pm and again on Thursday from 7-9pm, both sessions will be held at Eastglen High School, located at 11430 68th street, and will be open to the media and public.
