Coulee Region Chill News Release

It took a 22-man shootout, but the Coulee Region Chill outlasted the Wilderness 3-2 earning a home and home sweep.  The Wildnerness got on the boards first with a goal from Jakob Romo in the first period.  Eddie Matsushima scored (assists by Andy Faust and Brogan Rafferty) in the second period on a powerplay to tie the game up.  Moving into the third period Blake Kelley scored on another power play to put the Chill in the lead 2-1.  The Wilderness quickly responded with a goal by Darian Romanko to tie the game up and force OT.  Overtime was not enough to settle things as there was a 22-man shootout to put the Chill on top 3-2.  Scoring for the Chill were Gordon Wells, Ondrej Zehnal and Jesse Tredinnick with the game winning goal!
