Coulee Region Chill News Release
It took a 22-man shootout, but the Coulee Region Chill outlasted the Wilderness 3-2 earning a home and home sweep. ÃâàThe Wildnerness got on the boards first with a goal from Jakob Romo in the first period. ÃâàEddie Matsushima scored (assists by Andy Faust and Brogan Rafferty) in the second period on a powerplay to tie the game up. ÃâàMoving into the third period Blake Kelley scored on another power play to put the Chill in the lead 2-1. ÃâàThe Wilderness quickly responded with a goal by Darian Romanko to tie the game up and force OT. ÃâàOvertime was not enough to settle things as there was a 22-man shootout to put the Chill on top 3-2. ÃâàScoring for the Chill were Gordon Wells, Ondrej Zehnal and Jesse Tredinnick with the game winning goal!
