
Chill Signs Former St. Louis Outside Hitter-Libero Marshall

ROCHESTER, MINN., NOVEMBER 8, 2002_ The Minnesota Chill today announced the signing of former St. Louis outside hitter-libero Tracey Marshall (Bolingbrook, Ill., University of Illinois).
Marshall played in 19 games and averaged 2.5 digs as libero for the Quest in 2002. She had a season-high 12 digs in a match against Grand Rapids.
Marshall holds the Illinois career record for digs with 1,426 as well as digs in a season (465). She was an All-Big Ten selection in 1998. Marshall was named Gatorade State Player of the Year in Illinois at Downers Grove South High School and was an All-State in high school her junior and senior seasons.
The Chill begins defense of its USPV championship on January 10 when it hosts Chicago in a rematch of last year's USPV championship. The Chill will play an expanded, weekend-weighted 10-match home schedule at the Mayo Civic Center Auditorium in Rochester, Minn.
