Chill Getting Ready to Start Season

Coulee Region Chill News Release
The season begins on Wed, Sept 14th, in Blaine MN at the NAHL Showcase. All games can be heard this season on 1490 WLFN Sports and worldwide at sports.lacrosseradiogroup.net/chill as well a video & audio by subscription at fasthockey.com. The Blue Moon will also be streaming the Chill road games in house this season. Rik Franke will be the play by play voice on radio and Brian Simpson, morning host on WRQT 95-7 The Rock, will be the Public Address Omni Center voice.

Fri Sept 16th 8:15 pm vs. Fresno Monsters
Sat Sept 17th 7:15 pm vs. Amarillo Bulls
Twelve Chill vets return, including power forward David Ripple from Winter Springs FL. who led the Chill last season with 11 ppg. Aaron Davis will be back between the pipes after leading the Chill to their first ever playoff series victory over Owatonna. Defensemen Matt Blomquist will be back in his 3rd year of NAHL Junior Hockey after committing to Bentley University in MA in the off season. The mix of vets and great speedy young talent this year has GM Rick Wesp thinking this years club has a lot of promise on paper.
