Chiefs With Two This Weekend

Through the first seven games of the WHL season the Spokane Chiefs have earned points in six of them and are currently tied with the Tri-City Americans for first place in the U.S. Division with 10 points a piece. Including a pair of games this weekend the Chiefs are in the middle of six straight against division opponents. Tonight, the Chiefs will travel to Portland before Saturday night's home tilt against the Everett Silvertips, their third game this year in the Spokane Arena.

Mike Boyle will go on the air at 7:00 on Friday night with Comcast Hockey Tonight on 1510 KGA with the puck dropping from Portland at 7:30.

Tickets are still available for Saturday's Skate with the Chiefs night as Spokane hosts the Silvertips for the second time this year. Immediately following the game, all fans will have the opportunity to Skate with the Chiefs for the only time this year.

The Chiefs have yet to allow a goal at home this season spinning a pair of shutouts, one on opening night versus Tri-City and another versus the Silvertips last Friday when five different players scored goals
