On the Road Again: The Chicago Storm will play the next six games on the road, not playing a regular season home game until February 24 versus the Baltimore Blast.

On Top of the League: Lets Go Storm! Chicago sits in second place in the MISL standings with a 7-6 record, the best start in team history... Team captain Gaston Pernia is first in the MISL in blocked shots with 28... Midfielder Mariano Bollella is tied for second in the MISL in assists with 14 and tied for first in the league in game winning goals with two... Rookie forward Stephen Armstrong is tied for second in the MISL in restart goals with four... Rookie Stephen Armstrong is fourth in the league in goals with eleven.

First Timers: Gaston Pernia received his first two minute penalty of the season on Saturday....Sinisa Alebic got his first assist this season on Friday against Detroit...John Ball had his first start of the season on Friday for the Storm and also had his first block during the same game.

Milestones: Storm target man Chris Handsor is also only seven games shy of playing in his 300th career MISL/NPSL game... Veteran defender Sinisa Alebic needs only five blocks to reach 150 on his career... Storm midfielder Matthew Stewart reached 129 points for his career... Defender Randy Soderman is six games shy of his 100th MISL game... Goalkeeper Jim Larkin surpassed 3000 saves in his career and now has 3098 after this past week. Jorge Valle has set a personal best record for blocked shots in a season with ten blocked shots, prior to this season Jorge had only nine blocked shots in his two previous seasons in the MISL.

Hot Streaks: In his last ten games, midfielder Mariano Bollella has five goals and eleven assists...Midfielder Stephen Armstrong has had nine goals and three assists in his last ten games...In his last ten games, Awadalla Morad has had seven goals and six assists...Gaston Pernia continues to lead his team, this time in blocks with an impressive 28 throughout the last ten games...Both Chris Handsor and Matthew Stewart have scored six goals in the last five games with Handsor scoring 16 points in the last five games as well...

On Tap: For the next five weeks, the Chicago Storm heads out on the road with their first away game in Milwaukee on January 20th. The next Storm home game isn't until Saturday, February 24, at 1 p.m. versus the Baltimore Blast.
