CHICAGO, IL -Chicago Storm COO and GM Brian Loftin announced that the team has come to terms with midfielder Stephen Armstrong and defender Chris Brisson through the 2006-07 season, with a one year option. In accordance with club policy, terms of the contracts will not be released.
Both players come to the Storm after playing outdoor soccer in the USL First Division. Armstrong played with the Charleston Battery and Brisson from the Minnesota Thunder.

In 2006, he joined the Charleston Battery where he finished third on the team in goals (8) and points (17).
Storm head coach Steve Morris talked briefly about Armstrong. "Stephen's a smart, left footed player that came to us highly recommended by a number of sources and so far he's been as good advertised," said Morris.
Chris Brisson attended the Storm's open tryouts, which were held October 14th and 15th. The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee product spent the last two seasons with the Thunder. In 2005 he played for the Thunder Reserve team and in 2006 he played in eight games for Minnesota's first team.
"Chris Brisson is a young man who comes from two wonderful programs, having been coached by Amos McGee of the Thunder and Louis Bennet formerly of University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee." Morris continued, "We're going to throw him into the fire and he's going to be asked to contribute from the start. So far, he's shown no indication that he can't handle it."
