June 10, 2008 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Chicago Rush News Release
June 10, 2008 - The Central Division champion Chicago Rush will host a free coaching clinic for Chicagoland youth football coaches Wednesday, June 25, at Allstate Arena, the team announced today. The clinic will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be open to all local youth football coaches.
Rush head coach Mike Hohensee, along with Rush assistant coaches, players and support staff, will lead discussions and offer demonstrations on age-appropriate football drills, football strategy, preventing injuries and proper use of equipment.
"The Rush organization is committed to helping give local coaches the tools they need to better teach the game of football to the next generation of players," said Rush president/general manager Mike Polisky. "Youth coaches have told us how beneficial past clinics have been, and we expect this year's clinic to be equally informative."
Space for the clinic is limited. Youth football coaches wishing to attend should contact Rush community relations manager Laura Visin at (773) 243-3439 or lvisin@chicagorush.com no later than Monday, June 23.
