
Chicago Fire Soccer Club to Open Pop-Up Shop in the Wrigley Building on Michigan Avenue

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - Chicago Fire Soccer Club today announced that Fire On The Mile, an experiential pop-up shop, will open in The Wrigley Building (400 N. Michigan Ave.) on Friday, Nov. 16, creating an exciting stop for Chicagoans and visitors alike on the historic Magnificent Mile. The store will be open for a two-month period on the ground floor of the iconic landmark, opening just in time for the busy holiday shopping season.
The shop will allow fans and visitors to experience the Chicago Fire and the sport of soccer in an innovative fashion. Featuring interactive experiences such as soccer skee-ball, foosball tables and a gaming lounge, Fire On The Mile will serve as a destination for soccer fans and visitors alike. While enjoying the space, guests will be able to purchase exclusive Chicago Fire merchandise, limited designer collaborations and adidas soccer apparel.
"We're excited to open the doors to our new pop-up shop in The Wrigley Building," said Chicago Fire Chief Operating Officer John Urban. "We've created a fun, experiential space that we think all visitors will enjoy. Soccer brings people together and during the holidays we welcome fans from all over the world to stop by and experience the world's game, Chicago-style."
In addition to serving as a retail space, Fire On The Mile will also host a daily interactive photo booth, enter-to-win raffle contests and gaming tournaments. Featured on the first floor of The Wrigley Building, the main entrance to Fire On The Mile will be located on E. North Water Street. The store will be open from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The Fire will participate in The Wrigley Building's annual tree lighting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 16 at 4:00 p.m. Fire players, including midfielder Mo Adams and defender Grant Lillard, will be in attendance and available for autographs and photos.
