Charlotte and Lakeland Postponed

PORT CHARLOTTE - The regularly scheduled game between the Charlotte Stone Crabs and the Lakeland Flying Tigers has been postponed due to inclement weather at Charlotte Sports Park. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, July 14, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Gates will be opening at 4:00 p.m. as the two clubs will play a pair of seven inning games, with an intermission of approximately 30 minutes between contests.

Saturday will also feature the Team Photo Giveaway and a special autograph session prior to Game 1 of the twin bill. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a 2012 Stone Crabs Team Photo, and will then have the opportunity to attend a special team autograph signing from 4:00-4:30 p.m. Fans should line up next to the Hit and Run Club, next to the right field berm area to take part in the autograph session.

Fans who had tickets to Friday's game can exchange them for the make-up date or any other regular season home game. Tickets for all home games are available by visiting the Charlotte Sports Park box office, by calling 941-206-HITS (4487), or by visiting StoneCrabsBaseball.com.
