Charleston's Fuller Signs with Hawks, is 9th Gatorade Callup

GREENVILLE, S.C., February 27 â Charleston Lowgators forward Hiram Fuller has signed a 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks, making him the ninth NBDL-to-NBA "Gatorade Callup" of this season.
Since the NBDL began competition in November 2001, 23 players have received 31 "Gatorade Callups" to play for NBA teams. Fuller's callup is the seventh all-time for Charleston and the third this season. Guard Tierre Brown signed a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Hornets and forward Ime Udoka inked a 10-day with the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this year.
Fuller has played in 30 games for the Lowgators, averaging 22.8 minutes, 7.7 points and 7.1 rebounds. He is third in the NBDL in blocked shots, averaging 1.8 per game. His rebounding totals rank him seventh in the league.
