Anhaeuser played for the Battery from 1994 - 1999 then was an assistant coach from 1999 - 2004. Anhaeuser won a national championship with Indiana University in 1988, with the Battery as a player in 1996 and as a coach with the Battery in 2003.

We have two College of Charleston players signed and in camp, Troy Lesesne & Ben Hollingsworth. Drew Cavanagh is also with the team but we are waiting for clearance from US Soccer before we can officially announce him.

Defender, Alan Woods (Clemson 2000) is back in a Battery uniform after four years away (New England Revolution 2001, Atlanta Silverbacks 2002, 2003).

DC United, Columbus Crew & San Jose Earthquakes all arrive this week 16th or 17th March.
