
Charleston Adds Gibbs

GREENVILLE, S.C., March 5 â The Charleston Lowgators have acquired forward Wil Gibbs and released forward Chuck Eidson while he recovers from injury, according to an announcement today by NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Charleston coach Doug Marty.
Gibbs, who is expected to join the team in Huntsville tonight and wear jersey #3, is 6-7 and 215 pounds and played collegiately at Brevard College ('03). He has been working out as a practice player for Charleston. An all-conference and honorable mention All-America player at Brevard, Gibbs finished his career as the all time leading scorer in school history.
