CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Charge (10-4) won their fourth consecutive game in a 115-105 triumph over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (8-4) on Wednesday night. The victory improved Cleveland's home record to 7-0 to start the season.
Cleveland was paced by Nate Hinton's 28 points on 11-of-16 shooting with six assists and three steals in 35 minutes. Jamorko Pickett scored 26 points on 10-of-14 from the field with six boards in 37 minutes. Mamadi Diakite added 19 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks in 23 minutes. Sharife Cooper scored 12 points, dished eight assists and nabbed two steals in 32 minutes.
Seven of the eight Fort Wayne players who saw action tonight scored in double figures, led by a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds from Delvidas Sirvydis. Jermaine Samuels Jr. came off the bench to score 17 points and grab eight boards in 29 minutes of relief. The Mad Ants surrendered 27 turnovers as a team that resulted in 44 Charge points. The homestand wraps up with a meeting against the Windy City Bulls (Chicago Bulls) on Monday, December 12th at 6:00 p.m. - Tickets start at just $5!
