Huntsville Channel Cats News Release
Huntsville, AL â The Huntsville Channel Cats led 2-0 after the first period and never looked back on their way to a 4-1 win over the Winston-Salem T-Birds Thursday night.
Jessi Otis, James Patterson, Joel Bresciani and Allan Carr all scored goals for the Channel Cats. Mark Cole, playing in his first game with the Cats, added two assists. Patterson, Bresciani, Luke Phillips, Dan Buccella and Matt Carmichael all had one assist.
Lee Jenke scored the T-Birds goal with an assist from Matt Lefaive.
Matt Carmichael stopped 28 shots in the win while Cam McCormick stopped 36 in the loss. Huntsville was 1-3 in power plays while Winston-Salem was 0-3.
The Channel Cats will travel to Knoxville tomorrow night.
