Toronto, ON (October 20, 2006) - The Canadian Football League (CFL) has been working with the Winnipeg Police Service and has full confidence in its ability and expertise. The CFL is aware of all issues of security and take these matters seriously. Safety is of the utmost concern to the Canadian Football League at all of our events, and in conjunction with our skilled police partners in Winnipeg we will do everything to ensure everyone attending the 2006 Grey Cup and the week-long festival leading up to the game has full assurances of security.
