CFL Fan Draft Gives Fans The Chance To Buy Early

Toronto, ON - (May 31, 2010) - Tomorrow is a big, big day for CFL fans. Not only does it officially start the 30-day countdown to RONA Canada Day Kickoff, it's also the first opportunity for fans to purchase single game tickets to any CFL game, including tickets to the 98th Grey Cup in Edmonton.

And if fans purchase single game tickets before June 8th, they will be automatically entered in the 'CFL Fan Draft' where they have the chance to win some great prizes, including a grand prize trip to the 98th Grey Cup.

Other prizes include additional game tickets, sideline access, a chance to meet their favourite players, and, courtesy of Reebok and Roger Edwards, a swag bag featuring CFL Retro gear celebrating the 1970s.

Regular season single game tickets are on-sale as of 10:00am local in each CFL market (9:00am local in Saskatchewan). Fans can purchase regular season tickets by contacting their local clubs, through CFL.ca/Tickets , or by calling 1-866-993-4CFL (4235) or 1-888-LCF-MATCH (523-6282).

Prices for the 98th Grey Cup start as low as $98.00. Prices are very affordable with the highest price point being $250.00 for the best seats in the house. Tickets to the Grey Cup game are available starting at 2:00pm MT and can be purchased through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.ca) or by calling 780-451-8000. Local fans are also welcome to come down to the Eskimo Team Store to purchase Grey Cup tickets.

RONA Canada Day Kickoff features four games over three days: The 2010 CFL regular season opener features a Grey Cup rematch with the Montreal Alouettes visiting the Saskatchewan Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. ET on Canada Day July 1st, and will be immediately followed at 10 p.m. ET by the Toronto Argonauts playing the Stampeders in Calgary. Friday Night Football on July 2 features the Winnipeg Blue Bombers hosting the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at 8:00 p.m. ET. And the opening weekend of the CFL season concludes Sunday, July 4 with the B.C. Lions visiting the Edmonton Eskimos at 7:00 p.m. ET, with all games broadcast on TSN.

Rookie camps across the CFL open on Wednesday, June 2nd, followed by training camps on Sunday, June 6th.
