More than 300 U.S. players are on the Canadian Football League's active team rosters, including representatives from eight Southeastern Conference schools and nine Atlantic Coast Conference schools that are in the Comcast Sports Southeast / Charter Sports Southeast coverage area.

The 24-hour regional sports network provides unique programming for fans in the southeast, including NCAA basketball, baseball and football games, auto racing and hockey. CFL broadcasts will be distributed from CSS's state-of-the-art transmission and master control facilities in Atlanta.

This new extension of CFL coverage was arranged by Trajectory Sports & Media Group, the New York-based management and marketing organization responsible for expanding Canadian football's broadcast exposure in the United States and internationally.

"We are thrilled to be announcing this new agreement with CSS" said Brent Scrimshaw, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships at the CFL. "As a strategic extension to a top notch roster of international broadcasters, we maintain our commitment to bring our game of football and the CFL experience into the homes of football fans where ever they live."

"Broadcasting CFL games adds a new dimension to our programming lineup," said Mark Fuhrman, General Manager of CSS. "We are excited for the opportunity to bring the CFL's fast-paced, high-scoring brand of football into the homes of our viewers throughout the southeast."

The addition of CSS is the latest entry in the CFL's U.S. broadcast plan developed by Trajectory Sports & Media Group, and which now includes America One, New England Sports Network (NESN), Empire Sports Network, Madison Square Garden Network, and Fox Sports New York. In the United States, the two major American satellite services – DirecTV and DISH Network – will carry sports channels that feature weekly CFL games as part of their regular lineup.

Internationally, CFL games can be seen on the North American Sports Network (NASN), which is distributed on Europe's largest direct-to-home provider, the BSkyB platform. NASN currently serves the United Kingdom and plans to expand to Germany and the rest of Europe later this year.

Allied Forces serving in the Persian Gulf region and throughout the Middle East are also able to see weekly games on Fox Sports.
