BATTLE CREEK, Mich.-The Southwest Michigan Devil Rays proudly announce the non-minor league baseball events for C.O Brown Stadium in 2006. April's most anticipated event is the annual Cereal City Classic. The Classic will feature the five Battle Creek high schools and hosting schools from Climax, Gobles, and Charlotte. Cereal City Classic games are set to take place at C.O. Brown on Thursday, April 13 and Saturday, April 15.

First round action begins on Thursday at 4:00 pm as St. Phillip squares off against Battle Creek Pennfield. The second game of Thursday's double-header features Battle Creek Central against Gobles. Action picks up again at 10:00 am on Saturday as the loser of the Lakeview/Charlotte game meets the loser of the Harper Creek/Climax game. The second game of the day at 12:30 pm will showcase the winners of the previously mentioned games. The Cereal City Championship game is set for 3:30 pm on Saturday.

Devil Rays General Manager Martie Cordaro said, "We're excited to host the Cereal City Classic for the first time. We hope area fans will come out and support the area teams at C.O. Brown Stadium."
