
Central Scouting Publishes Its First Official Rankings
April 1, 2010 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) News Release
BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, April 1, 2010 - Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Central Scouting today published its first official prospects list for the 2010 Entry Draft which will be held next June at the Marcel-Dionne Center in Drummondville.
The list includes 580 players, 437 of which are from Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces and 143 from New England. The players are listed alphabetically from rounds one (1) through five (5). Moreover, the list includes the following information:
1- 15 year-old players
2- Player rankings in alphabetical order for rounds 6 to 8 and 9 to 12
3- Other eligible 15 and 16 year-old players
4- American players
Of note, the first round includes six defensemen, ten forwards and two goaltenders.
Please note that the final list will be available on May 1, 2010.
