Fort Worth rolled again, and this time the Pelicans got caught in the way. The Cats' used a team-record nine hits- including three from DH John Allen-to smash Pensacola 14-2. 1B Jordan Foster had two doubles of his own, as well as his third homer, driving in four on the night. CF Carlos Adolfo homered in the second straight game, driving in three. TJ Hendricks stifled the Pelicans' hitters, allowing just two earned runs on seven hits over eight and two-thirds innings. 1B Larry Bethea homered for Pensacola.

EL PASO 11, COASTAL BEND 1 @ Robstown, Texas. Time: 2:44 ATT: 1,181 W: Andy Torres (5-1) L: Mark Acierno (1-3) S: None HR: EP - Carlos Sepulveda (13)

El Paso used a five-run rally in the sixth and a four-run rally in the seventh to beat Coastal Bend 11-1. RF Carlos Sepulveda led the Diablos, going 3-for-5 with a homer, three runs and three RBIs. DH Juan Camacho was 2-for-3 with two doubles and two driven in. Starter Andy Torres got his fifth win, holding the Aviators to no runs on four hits over six innings. DH Carlos Figueroa had two hits for Coastal Bend.

EDINBURG 14, SAN ANGELO 2 @ Edinburg, Texas. Time: 2:53 ATT: 3,168 W: Kevin Hull (4-4) L: Jason Wiedmeyer (5-7) S: None HR: EDI - Eric Gonzalez (8), Anthony Angel (4)

The routs continued all night long, as Edinburg pounded San Angelo 14-2. RF Eric Gonzalez was 2-for-4 with a homer and three batted in from the leadoff spot. SS Kip Harkrider followed him in the two-hole with a 3-for-5 night, with three runs scored. DH Cedrick Harris registered four hits and two runs for Edinburg, which tallied seventeen his as a team. Kevin Hull got the win for the Roadrunners, allowing just a run on four hits, striking out four.

SHREVEPORT 11, JACKSON 7 @ Shreveport, Louisiana Time: 3:26 ATT: 919 W: Derek Cunningham (3-3) L: Dan Hearn (1-4) Save: None HR: None

The epidemic of lopsided baseball reached Shreveport, as the Senators tried valiantly to make a game of it with a five-run eighth, but fell to the Sports 11-7. Shreveport scored three runs apiece in the second, third and fourth innings, and tacked on insurance in the sixth and eighth. C Jason Torres provided much of Shreveport's firepower, going 5-for-5 with two RBIs and three runs. Starter Derek Cunningham won his third game and helped put Shreveport over .500 for the first time all year, allowing two unearned runs over seven innings, striking out nine.
