The Pelicans were able to hold off a sixth inning rally by the Cats and get a victory 9-7. Shane Arthurs picked up his first win of the season going six innings, allowing five hits and six earned runs. Catcher George Branch went 3-for-5 at the plate, while rightfielder Juan Rocha had four RBIs for the Pelicans. Logan Stout got the loss going two and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and four runs. Fort Worth first baseman Jordan Foster hit his second homerun of the season and also drove in four runs.

SAN ANGELO 6, EDINBURG 4 @ San Angelo, Texas. Time: 2:45 ATT: 1440 W: Danny McCreedy (1-1) L: Dan Valentin (2-3) S: Justin Craker (11) HR: EDI - Ryan Owens (1)

The Colts were able to break a four to four tie in the bottom of the seventh to defeat the Roadrunners 6-4. Danny McCreedy picked up his first win of the season for San Angelo going three innings, allowing two hits and no runs. Colts second baseman Jorge Alvarez led the offense going 2-for-4 at the plate and driving in two runs. Dan Valentin picked up his third loss of the season, going six and a third innings, allowing six hits and four earned runs. Edinburg rightfielder Matt Spencer went 3-for-4 at the plate, while third baseman Ryan Owens hit his first homerun for the season, plating two runs.

COASTAL BEND 3, JACKSON 0 @ Jackson, Miss. Time: 2:10 ATT: 1421 W: J.J. Trujillo (2-5) L: Ryan Snyder (2-4) S: None HR: None

Aviators starter J.J. Trujillo went the distance, throwing a two-hit shutout to pick up his second win of the season. Over nine innings, Trujillo allowed only those two hits and two walks, while striking out ten. Coastal Bend first baseman Kevin Henry led the offense going 2-for-2 at the plate. Senators' starter Ryan Snyder picked up the loss despite going seven innings of three hit ball and allowing only one run, while striking out six. Jackson hitters Selwyn Langaigne and Josh Tranum had the only two hits against Trujillo.

SHREVEPORT 8, EL PASO 2 @ El Paso, Texas. Time: 2:43 ATT: 2532 W: Eric Wilkstrom (2-3) L: T. Teeter (0-1) S: None HR: None

The Sports handed El Paso an 8-2 loss. Eric Wilkstrom picked up the win for Shreveport going 6 and two-thirds innings, allowing 8 hits and 0 runs. The Sports were led at the plate by Chad Gambill and Jose Rivas who had two hits a piece. El Paso pitcher T. Teeter got the loss going four and a third innings, allowing five hits and five runs. The Diablos offense was led by Carlos Sepulveda who went 2-for-5.
