GLENDALE, AZ - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Rapid City Rush defenseman Justin Sawyer has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions in Friday's game versus the Arizona Sundogs.
Sawyer's suspension is a result of a Boarding Major penalty he received in the second period. His infraction was viewed to be careless, unnecessary and dangerous and causing injury to a Sundogs player.
