
Central Hockey League Announces Suspension
November 20, 2012 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
GLENDALE, AZ (November 20, 2012) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Bloomington Blaze defenseman Steve Makway has been suspended two games (2) as a result of his actions in his team's game on November 17 against the Quad City Mallards.
Makway was assessed an elbowing penalty on the play but after a requested review was observed to issue unnecessary, careless/reckless and avoidable contact to the head area of an opponent.
The defenseman will miss the Blaze's next two games scheduled for Wednesday, November 21 at Wichita and Friday, November 23 at Tulsa.
