
Cellular South Fireworks Extravaganza a Blast for \'Birds

Memphis, Tenn. - Cellular South and the Memphis Redbirds will celebrate Independence Day with a bang this 4th of July.
Following the Redbirds game with the Nashville Sounds will be the Cellular South Fireworks Extravaganza. The fireworks show will mark the fifth straight season the 'Birds and Cellular South have teamed to bring fireworks to downtown.
"This event is perfect for families who can enjoy the all-American game of baseball before watching a truly fantastic fireworks show celebrating our nation's freedom," said Noel Coward, Cellular South Area Manager. "We are thrilled to sponsor for the 5th consecutive year the Cellular South July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza."
In between the game and fireworks 100 immigrants from 42 countries will become citizens of the United States of America through a naturalization ceremony. The immigrants have gone through a six-month process and passed English and civics tests in order to become an American citizen.
Tickets for the game are limited and fans are encouraged to print their tickets online at home to avoid long will call lines. Game time is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. For more information fans can log on to memphisredbirds.com or call (901) 721-6000.
