Celebrate Everday Heroes with the Tampa Yankees on July 3rd

The Tampa Yankees will host Every Day Heroes Night on Tuesday July 3, 2012 at 7pm, when the Tampa Yankees take on the Dunedin Blue Jays at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The event is sponsored by Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport and the gates will be open to the public at 6pm.

All military personnel (active and retired), Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, and EMT specialists will receive FREE ADMISSION to the game.

Players will be wearing custom American Flag theme jerseys in honor of the event. These jerseys will be auctioned during the game with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Everyday Heroes. Everyday Heroes is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping the men and women of Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, the military and their families by providing a one-stop resource to events, organizations and assistance for our heroes.

The National Anthem Girl, Janine Stange, is traveling from Los Angeles and will be singing the National Anthem before the game. Her mission is to boost patriotism and moral in the lives of Americans by performing the Anthem throughout the United States to present a simple platform to give back to our nation's heroes. The festive night will be capped off by a Fireworks show extravaganza sponsored by Sago Networks.

Every Tuesday home game with the Tampa Yankees is Tijuana Flats 2 for Tuesday. Buy one ticket, Get one ticket free and receive a free appetizer coupon to Tijuana Flats. There will also be "2 for 1" programs, speed pitch, and select concessions items: scooter dogs, ice cream, peanuts, small popcorn, and small sodas.

There will also be a bounce house and face painter on site, as well as other activities for kids.
