
Cavs win last game in series against Skyrockets

LAWTON, OKLA.- The Oklahoma Cavs came home Sunday to avenge their 3 losses against the Skyrockets to beat them 114-98.
The Cavs came out of the locker room to go on a 12-0 run to start the game. But the Skyrockets didn't give up. They came back to lead by 6 with 2:07 left in the first quarter.
In the second quarter, the Cavs worked the paint getting most of their points at the free throw line. Sixteen points of the team's 28 points came from the stripe. The Skyrockets trailed by six going into halftime.
The Cavs charged the floor in the third quarter to lead by as many as 17. Curtis Haywood was the point leader with 24 points and Marvin Phillips had a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. The Skyrockets' Ronnie Fields led their team with 31 points, and Ray Cunningham added 26.
To end the game, Albert Robinson scored a long 3-pointer to win the quarter point, and to give the Cavs 6.5 of the 7 quarter points.
"We finally played well," said Head Coach Michael Ray Richardson. "We finally played 48 minutes and took care of the basketball," added Richardson.

The Cavalry better their record to 10-13. They will have a week break and will meet the Pittsburgh Xplosion next Sunday.
